2009 Dallas Cowboys Fantasy Football Preview
F or the 3rd consecutive year under the direction of Wade Phillips and Tony Romo of the Cowboys were a train wreck of an organization and not up to their pre-season Super Bowl hype. In 2006 the supplement was unsuccessful against the Seattle Seahawks. In 2007, the errant pass zone Romo released by writing their destination and the past year the team did not qualify for the playoffs outright by operating out by the Philadelphia Eagles 44-6 during the last week of the regular season a winner goes to the playoffs and the loser scenario goes home. This background brings us to the 2009 version of Team USA in the new multi-million Dallas Cowboys Stadium which opens to the nation in September 20 against the NY Giants on NBC Sunday Night Football. I can not think of a team with more pressure on him this year than Dallas. Terrell Owens has gone on a motion Jerry Jones, owner describes how to make the Cowboys' Romo more friendly. " I'm not a fan of A, but in their defense the receiver has been shocking for the goat boy for everything that went wrong in Big D. I think this is a make or break a year for Romo. Everything in the organization is being treated for their continuous development and there is no one else to blame if things go array of this year. Do you believe that feelings of Dirk Nowitzki was injured after being swindled by puma waiting to see how Jones deals with the Cowboys if Romo is not at his fortress-like new stadium this year. With this in mind let's take a look at what the Cowboys to offer fantasy owners heading into 2009.
As I mentioned along with JaMarcus Russell is put up or shut time for Romo, which my opinion is an overrated putz who is lazy and more concerned about his public image of being a top NFL quarterback. I'm not alone as a Hall of Fame Cowboy Troy Aikman QB like Romo took photos at the Michael Irvin show on ESPN Radio shortly after the season ended. There is no doubt Romo has some talent and if he dedicates himself to his work can be a star in this league. Has shown that potential. However, it always seems that the potential is presented in the first three quarters of the season and then when December and the playoffs roll is a complete train wreck Clava costs when games over and over again. (Remember that game in Pittsburgh against the Steelers that the Cowboys had won until Romo missed the game unassisted for them with their INT in the final minutes?) Moreover, from a standpoint of fantasy Romo has another job very negative against and is clearly the loss of Owens. Say what you want about him but the man produces. In his three years with the Cowboys, Owens caught 235 passes for 3.587 yards and an incredible 38 TD. Who will compensate for these numbers? Roy Williams? Please. Williams is not half the receiver is nor do they have half of his work ethic. That leaves the Cowboys with Miles Austin, Patrick Crayton, along with a group of ragged boys who really have nothing to do in the NFL to go with Pro Bowl TE Jason Witten. Romo is a number a fantasy QB but I will not be drafting him, and that at least 10 to 12 QB's would rather have. To be blunt, there is nothing that I like the number 9 and includes everything from your decisions, work habits, and the receiving corps that will be launched in 2009. Romo that some owners of other problems this year, not yours.
As with many teams in the new era of the NFL backfield the Cowboys used a number of options none of which is higher than a number 2 RB. Obviously, the focal point in the backfield is Marion Barber, who rushed for 885 yards and 7 TD, while chipping in with 52 receptions for 417 yards and a score 2 additional. Barber's running style, which has rightfully earned the nickname "Marion the Barbarian" made him prone to injury and carries as the season continues. This is evidenced by the fact that Barber has never rushed for 1,000 yards in a season despite being dominant at times. The administration also sees this in Barber and style running is to hit the reason the editorial team sprinter Felix Jones of Arkansas in the 2008 NFL Draft. Jones made an immediate impact for the 'Boys take their first NFL relay at the home of a 11-yard touchdown against the Cleveland Browns. His rookie season was progressing very well until a partially torn hamstring ended his 2008 campaign season games in June. Jones ended up running for 266 yards and three scores and also returned a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown against the Eagles 41-37 in that classic Monday Night Football contest earlier this year. When the two backs ultimately dropped the rookie Tashard choice filled admirably. Barber is undoubtedly the best fantasy option for the Cowboys heading in 2009 and draft him as a RB number 2 somewhere in the neighborhood Round 4 just off the back like Marshawn Lynch and Darren McFadden. Jones is a number limit of the number 4 3/Flex option for owners of the game in this season and in the drills that I have been participating in the CBS Sports have been circling around the seventh to eighth. In my opinion Jones is a good selection around that time. The choice is worth taking a flyer on the night of the round as he did so when asked last year if either Barber or Jones is injured in again this year its value immediately increase due to increased repetitions.
While I agree with the release of AL I am a great believer Roy Williams and certainly not as much of a believer like Jerry Jones. First, what was surprising given by Williams, a first, third and sixth pick for a receiver that although has been stuck on a horrible team ever to live up to its press clippings since arriving from the University of Texas in 2004. The Cowboys are banking on to replace Williams much if not all the statistics referred to above and quite frankly I do not see it happening. First, while the Lions are terrible does not seem disturb my man Calvin Johnson this year that helped lead me to a league title by catching passes from a quarterback who literally did not know where the line back of the end zone was. Williams is decent and I think a good number two option for fantasy owners this year due to the number of balls is sure to see your way with Owens in Buffalo, but now if you're thinking he's going to put up the numbers of type number 81 is very wrong. Do not lose sight Williams on draft day this August, but fall for him too high or certainly be disappointed. Crayton and Austin are the other main options receipt of Dallas and the two I like Austin because of its ability to go long, but even thinking about writing Miles at least until the 10th round. Crayton is a late round flyer the best and no other Cowboy WR project is worth consideration at press time.
Dallas is a sport of the best in the league TE Jason Witten that helped me to a league title last year. Continue trying Witten available as one of the first 3 years of TE and workload would most likely if possible to increase the output of A Witten If you really want to be prepared to spend one quarter later than the fifth round of him and that is where he goes has always been mockery of the CBS.
Entering the last year I was actually quite high in Dallas DST not and why? The team had signed talented but troubled Adam CB "Pac Man" Jones and also had a defensive league with the new star LB DeMarcus Ware. Things however, was never removed as the man did nothing Pac in the field and kept doing things out of it and was finally released and the entire unit was inconsistent throughout the year. Although things may improve this year (hard to get much worse than '08) Up shows that this unit can be a dominant force on a regular basis, do not consider using them as a number one choice. Jones offers a nice spark in the return game, but I need more than that, especially if you play in a league like mine that is heavy defensive and to award points tackles, sacks etc.
Well, that concludes my review of the Cowboys' fantasy. Then: The Philadelphia Eagles.

the will of the NFL team Dallas Cowboys win the Super Bowl this year?
Could. It is difficult to say at this point in time. Now that A is gone, I think Romo is more focused on winning than what he will say at the press conference after the game. The Cowboys have an outstanding offense with Romo Witten, Barber and Williams and his defense has a lot of talented kids and adults. Wade Phillips is the only important issue, if you have a bad season, then he is more than likely out of a job. I think it needs to spend most of all, and then take the Cowboys to the playoffs or Super Bowl.
