Bowling Techniques - Hook Ball Bowling
In the game of bowling, everybody's trying to have a look for methods to make their game play better - finding new strategies and learning from others. You could have seen on TV that most professionals use the hook ball bowling system. This method is unquestionably the best among bowling professionals for the fact the bowling ball curves away from the point it started from, ending nicely into the pocket ( i.e pins one and two or pins one and three). Getting a hook nicely into the pocket depends principally on the bowling ball's hook potential, condition of the lane and naturally the bowler's strategy.
There are some hook ball methodologies pro bowlers adopt. The basic essentials of hooking a bowling ball are : to keep your hand in a firm position, give it a good swing and release. In all, remember to keep your palms up below the bowling ball. When in swing, turn the bowl so that when releasing, your palm is facing inwards to you. Naturally this all may appear complicated to any new bowler but after you pick it up, you may find that hook ball bowling is truly one of the best strategy to bring back home strikes and knock down spares.
To add on further, there are generally 3 hook ball bowling techniques in the bowling game. Read on for more below.
Bowling technique #1 - the cranker
As the name implies, the cranker needs some quantity of effort and control over the ball. The bowler reaches the foul line before the ball does and cranks up the ball in the last moments when releasing it to spin the ball up to extraordinarily high velocity. To gain this needs accurate coordination between body movements and the arms. You may find the ball moving near to the gutters before shifting back to the pins towards the end of the alley.
Bowling technique #2 – the stroker
In contrast to the cranker, strokers don't require that much effort. Typically bowlers who use this method carry reactive balls like the crankers do. The strokes are pretty like the cranker but smaller force and spins are needed. The bowler can achieve better ball control (steering the ball towards the direction they desire) but he is going to see a smaller curve in comparison to the cranker.
Bowling technique #3 - the chopper
The 3rd method is referred to as the helicopter. The name is given in respect to the way in which the ball spins itself in the approach towards the pins like the way a propeller spins in helicopters. The way a bowler grips with this method is absolutely different from the cranker and stroker. Fingers grasp the ball from the top, with palm faced downwards. When approaching the foul line, do a top-spin towards the pins elected by him.
Getting a handle on the hook ball method is in no way straightforward and easy. Find a best strategy that suits you well and practice on them. In time to come you'll definitely enhance your bowling techniques and that's for sure.

bowling ball?
When you lift a bowling ball with a force of 84.1 N, the ball accelerates upward with an acceleration a. If you lift with a force of 92.6 N, the ball's acceleration is 1.96a. Calculate the weight of the bowling ball. Calculate the acceleration a.
force= mass x acceleration.
therefore, mass = force/acceleration
therefore, mass = difference in force/ difference in acceleration
(92.6 N - 84.1 N) / (1.96a - 1a)= 8.5/.96 = ~ 8.854
