Inter remains at the top of the Italian League

 

Once again, the Inter Milan asserted its leading position by defeating Fiorentina 2-0, in the Day 28 of the Italian League. With this victory, the Nerazzurri increased their advantage to 66 points, seven points away from Juventus, which are its closest pursuers, while the Viola, with 46 points, dropped to the fifth place, which they share with AS Roma.

 

The match initially was a bit complicated since both teams had a strong battle to control the possession of the ball that wrapped them up in a heavy clash in which constantly they were looking for opportunities to get closer to each other areas. What is with the umpires at the little league world series?

Did you see the home plate umpires strikezone on Saturday during the semifinals? For God's sake he was calling strikes a good 18" to 24" off the outside of the plate!!! I don't care if he called it both ways or not he ruined the game! Obviously he was paid by the game and not by the hour! Repeatedly ABC sports showed the pitches he was calling strikes waaay outside. . . sometimes 2 feet or more!! This guy need to be fired and get off his high horse. These umpires now know they are on TV and seem to feel they need to be the centerpoint of the game! There is no excuse for this crazy strike zone! It made for a boring game as the players simply stood there and struck out or whiffed as they couldn't reach these so called strikes that were two feet outside.

I noticed that too. I thought I was just seeing the ball wrong or something.
