The Basilica of Luján is situated in the city of Luján. It was built between the 1685 and 1763 when the Basilica received the image of Our Lady of Luján. This is a famous building in Argentina because there stays the patron of the country.
The first time I was in front of the Basilica, I felt amazed at the beauty of its Gothic style and the magnitude of the building. The most noticeable feature was the two towers of more than 100 meters. When I was inside, I was immediately delighted by the image of Our Lady of Luján and by the silence and peace that the place offered.
This place is important to me because I visited it every year with my primary and secondary school and remind me all this years.
